  • Payment obligations
  • Insurance requirements
  • Vessel maintenance requirements
  • Liability limitations
  • Marina operational policies
  • Termination rights


Slip assignments may be changed by marina management when necessary for operational purposes. Vessel owners are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage and complying with all marina rules and regulations.

The full Dockage Agreement shall govern in the event of any conflict with information presented on this website.


Marina Rules & Regulations

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, customers, and vessel owners, the following rules apply:


Safety & Environmental Rules
  • Absolutely no fuel containers are permitted on marina docks.
  • No smoking is allowed on marina docks.
  • The discharge of oil, oily waste, sewage, or pollutants into Boone Lake is strictly prohibited.
  • Use designated waste disposal facilities only.


Children & Water Safety
  • Children under 12 years old must wear a life jacket while on marina property.


Pets
  • Pets must remain on a leash.
  • Owners must clean up after their pets.
  • More than two pets residing on a vessel require written permission from marina management.


Courtesy & Conduct
  • Please do not feed ducks or geese from marina property.
  • No foul language is permitted on marina property.
  • No open alcoholic beverages are permitted on marina property.
  • Please be respectful of fellow boaters, guests, and marina staff.


Fishing
  • Fishing is permitted from marina property.
  • Please avoid damaging vessels or marina property with hooks or fishing equipment.
  • Fishing is not permitted from the main concrete gangway.


Parking
  • Parking is reserved for slip renters and their authorized guests.
  • Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner's expense.


Residency
  • Permanent residency at the marina is prohibited without written permission from management.


Dock & Walkway Access
  • Walkways and dock fingers must remain clear and unobstructed.
  • Unapproved dock boxes, grills, containers, and similar items are prohibited.
  • Vessel owners are responsible for ensuring their vessels do not obstruct walkways or common areas.

Rockingham Marina reserves the right to modify marina rules at any time.

Assumption of Risk

Boating, marina activities, water recreation, dining near water, vessel operation, and related activities involve inherent risks.

By entering marina property or participating in marina-related activities, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with such activities.


Limitation of Liability

Rockingham Marina, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury
  • Property damage
  • Theft
  • Fire
  • Flooding
  • Storms
  • Acts of God
  • Vessel damage
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of profits
  • Indirect or consequential damages


All use of marina facilities and services is at your own risk.
